1. What are some benefits of joining (IT) professional organizations? What might be some disadvantages?
Answer:
The benefits of joining (IT) professional organizations, I think these are, enduring IT skills enhancement, capable to pursue career opportunities, develop a sense of identity as an IT professional, and make your IT skills and knowledge more credible and reliable to others.
The disadvantage, it might be, you’re going to meet the far above the ground expectations of others since you're a part of a proficient IT organization.

2. Should an IT Professional either be licensed or certified? Why or why not?
Answer:
For me, it’s not a big deal, what matters most is that you’re skilled enough of doing something else in your preferred IT field. Something that is great that you have these particular sets of skills that you could proudly show-off. But one thing for sure,IT should have a license in which this proves that the skills of a certain IT professional are reliable and had passed the standard requirements. It allows them to measure their skills and knowledge whether they are competent and capable enough.

3. As an IT graduating students of the College, what Certification or Licensing you are aiming for? Why?
Answer:
Cisco Certified Entry Networking Technician (CCENT)
• I aimed to become validated in an area that requires the ability to install, troubleshoot a small enterprise branch network, including basic network security.
CompTIA Security+ certification
• I want to be an erudite IT practitioner in areas that require security treatment and hacking techniques and preventive maintenance from security threats that computer and information system are facing.
Microsoft Certified Application Specialist (MCAS)
• A specific-vendor certification from Microsoft that I want to become validated for my skills in using the 2007 Microsoft Office system and the Windows Vista operating system.
